Pothole reporting app is launched in Joburg

JOBURG – The launch of the app and bot comes after the Pothole Patrol initiative has already seen up to 50 000 potholes repaired

The City of Johannesburg Executive Mayor, Mpho Moerane, together with Discovery Insure and Dial Direct Insurance launched a new smartphone app and WhatsApp bot to enable the speedy reporting of potholes.

This is for attention across the metropolitan as part of the ongoing partnership on the Pothole Patrol initiative. The launch of the app and bot comes after the Pothole Patrol initiative has already seen up to 50 000 potholes repaired since the partnership between the City and the private companies kicked off in May this year.
