St Teresa’s Senior Primary School’s Grade 7 learners have embarked on a remarkable journey of compassion and generosity with their recent visit to Friends of Rescued Animals (Fora) in Tarlton, Krugersdorp.
The learners, armed with donations ranging from pet food to blankets, immersed themselves in meaningful interactions with the animals under Fora’s care. Their visit not only marked the beginning of term 2 but also symbolised the school’s unwavering commitment to community outreach and instilling values of compassion in its learners.
Fora, a beacon of hope for animals in need within the local community, provides a sanctuary where every creature is treated with dignity and compassion. From neglected pets to survivors of abusive environments, Fora pledges lifelong care and support to its residents, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.
Principal Lindsey Verster issued a heartfelt plea to the public, urging them to consider adoption from Fora.
