St Teresa’s Senior Primary School learners broke a sweat at their annual Interhouse Cross Country

Podium finishers were rewarded with exciting prizes from the sponsors.

The grounds of St Teresa’s Senior Primary School were alive with excitement and camaraderie as Grade 4 to Grade 7 girls competed in the annual Interhouse Cross Country on April 6.

Under pristine conditions, the girls showcased their running prowess, heart rates soaring with excitement and competitiveness as they navigated the challenging course.

Admissions and marketing at the school, Lianda May noted that the event marked by a spirit of sportsmanship and enthusiasm, saw Rosies giving their all, pushing through the course marked by white-painted arrows cheered on by parents and staff.

“Podium finishers were rewarded with exciting prizes from the sponsors, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event. In the end, Marian House emerged victorious, claiming the overall win, followed by McAuley and Lourdes.”

Director of Sports, Tessa Shellard expressed her joy, “We are immensely proud of our Rosies. Their determination and courage were truly inspiring, and they exemplified the values of sportsmanship and perseverance.”
