“It’s important to stress that this is merely part of the film,” stated a spokesperson from the Parktown North Residents’ Association (PNRA). “We understand that the noise may cause concern, but we want to reassure everyone that PTN is not under siege. There’s no need to contact SAPS or local security companies.”
The PNRA, in conjunction with 24/7 Security, has taken all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and comfort of the community. Residents are advised to take appropriate measures to calm pets and children who may be startled by the sound effects of the filming.

“We are grateful for the support of the community during this time,” the spokesperson continued. “We kindly ask that residents refrain from wandering near the set, as any interference may disrupt our filming schedule.”
The production has been co-ordinated with local authorities, including SAPS, who are fully aware of the situation. “Everything is in place to ensure a seamless filming experience,” the spokesperson added.
As the cameras roll, Parktown North will undoubtedly shine as a backdrop for the latest Netflix feature, capturing the attention, and hopefully the excitement of film enthusiasts across the region.
