The gathering was designed to honour the women of Pioneer House, many of whom are in need of extra love and attention. Killarney Mall organised the event to make these women feel remembered and appreciated. Residents were treated to thoughtfully prepared spoils, delicious treats, and carefully curated gift bags as part of the initiative.

Sanet Bigalke, care consultant from Pioneer House, said: “The residents of Pioneer House cherish being pampered. It’s more than just a treat; it gives them a deep sense of being valued and cared for. These moments of personal attention help foster a feeling of love, dignity, and connection, reminding each resident they are seen, appreciated, and deserving of kindness. Thank you for honouring our residents as mothers. They were truly thrilled.”

The breakfast was a chance for the women to enjoy a warm meal together while being celebrated for their lifelong contributions. The event was a simple yet meaningful gesture, with a focus on making the women feel valued within their community.
