Parkview SAPS acted swiftly to arrest a GBV perpetrator

Parkview SAPS’ Crime Prevention Unit and its Detective branch collaborated to arrest the GBV perpetrator.

The Parkview Community Policing Forum (CPF) commended the Parkview SAPS for their swift response after a stabbing incident which was reported on the morning of June 7.

After receiving information that a woman was allegedly stabbed by her boyfriend, SAPS Crime Prevention Unit members and the Detective branch acted immediately to trace the victim and gathered crucial information.

The suspect was traced, identified and arrested within three hours of the report after rapid coordination and investigative efforts from SAPS.

Parkview SAPS and CPF remain dedicated to combatting gender-based violence and ensuring the safety and well-being of all members of their community.
