Johannesburg Water to look into flooded excavation in Craighall

After we reached out to Johannesburg Water about the flooded excavation on Alexandra Avenue in Craighall, we were told it will be looked into. Now, we wait to see if any work is actually done.

Johannesburg Water has said they will look into the flooded excavation located on Alexandra Avenue in Craighall.

A reporter, on December 1, visited the muddy excavation outside a residential home, which has been dug up for close to a month with no sign of being worked on.

The publication reached out the water utility and received a reply saying that the issue will be looked into. We will update the article with any further responses we receive, and keep following up to see if they actually fix the site.
