City Power’s technical team has managed to locate a fault at the Rosebank substation, Christopherson distributor.
Due to access constraints, testing and repairs will continue today. This outage affects customers in Hyde Park and surrounding areas.
The outage in Cydna substation is due to multiple cable faults. The test branch will be on site today to test and locate the faults.

The power is estimated to be restored by 18:00 tonight, if all goes according to plan.
The outage affects customers in Illovo, Athol, Oaklands, Elton Hill, Birdhaven, Melrose, and surrounding areas.
