The Fashion Industry Awards South Africa (FIASA) celebrated fashion designers and seamstresses at The Firs in Rosebank.

Speaking on November 30, the founder of the awards Alinah Missouri said she was thrilled about the partnership.

“A decade ago, The Firs was the iconic shopping destination for high-end design, and the likes of Clive Rundle, Fred Eboka and Naked Ape called The Firs home for many years. Their recent refurbishment has brought vibrancy and vitality to the Rosebank shopping district and we love the energy and passion of their management team and tenants. It’s a perfect fit!”

Missouri added that the South African fashion industry value chain reoriented and journeyied towards the next normal, which was good news. She also added that it was necessary to nurture and grow the fashion ecosystem.
