Craighall Park Residents’ Association commends the Rosebank Killarney Gazette’s efforts in the community
2024 reminded the CPRA of the importance of collaboration and resilience in addressing the community’s needs. It plans to move to bigger and better things in the year ahead, and strive to make Craighall Park, Craighall, and Dunkeld West safe, clean, and welcoming neighbourhoods.
The Craighall Park Residents’ Association (CPRA) extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Rosebank Killarney Gazette Newspaper for its efforts in the community.
The resident association’s portfolio member, Samantha Herman, said the paper’s dedication to covering community matters, especially the frustrating and challenging issues that directly impact residents, made a tangible difference.
“Together, we have been able to highlight key concerns, from hazardous road conditions to delayed reinstatements, and have achieved traction within the City of Johannesburg. The power of journalism in driving accountability and fostering positive change cannot be overstated, and it’s clear that your efforts have played a critical role in these initiatives.”

Herman added that 2024 reminded the CPRA of the importance of collaboration and resilience in addressing the community’s needs.
“Working alongside you has underscored that when we operate as a united front, we amplify our voice and stand a far better chance of bringing about meaningful change. The challenges we faced have not been easy, but your responsiveness, persistence, and commitment to highlighting these issues has encouraged us and our residents to keep pushing forward,” she stated.

She added that as we look toward the New Year, the CPRA remained committed to strengthening its efforts to make Craighall Park, Craighall, and Dunkeld West safe, clean, and welcoming neighbourhoods.
The residents’ association remained optimistic that with continued teamwork it will address ongoing and future challenges with even greater success.
