The Wanderers Ladies League officially launched on May 31. To resolve safety concerns regarding players feeling unsafe traveling at night, and to encourage participation, the Wanderers Squash Club has introduced a Saturday daytime league. Sixteen ladies, from various clubs, joined the inaugural invitational league. The highlight was a flagship match between Alexa Pienaar, from Harlequin Squash Club (SA rank 4), and Shelomi Truter, from Wanderers Squash Club (SA rank 14).
