Jeppe Hockey Club walked away victorious after defeating Wanderers Hockey Club on home soil 2-1 on September 7.

Jeppe Hockey Club’s coach, Verillio Rodrigues, said that although he was happy with the score, the team had room for improvement.

“We definitely could have been better; we didn’t execute our shorties. It’s good to see the youngsters going up against some of the experienced players.’

Wanderers player, Fife Diviani, said, “We played well, but if we’d taken chances, we would have definitely beaten the other team.”
