Parkview Market shines through the afternoon rain in support of local charity
Community spirit sparkles at the Parkview Christmas Market as families gather for festive fun and a heartfelt cause.
Despite the afternoon rain, Parkview residents showed up with warmth and enthusiasm as the annual Parkview Christmas Market opened at George Hay Park in support of Nicarela Charity.
Umbrellas lined the pathways as families and friends arrived, ready to celebrate and filling the park with a cheerful energy that pushed the gloomy weather aside.

The grounds had been transformed into a glowing winter scene, filled with laughter, live music, and the unmistakable buzz of community spirit. Visitors browsed a colourful mix of handmade crafts, locally made gifts, and delicious treats.
More than eighty curated stalls showcased local talent, with vendors such as Burst Botanicals, Exotic Kashmir, Loomd Cotton, and Bespoke Creations drawing crowds with their unique creations.
Live entertainment added to the festive mood. A heartwarming performance by the Parkview Primary School choir brought smiles to wet but happy faces, their voices lifting the atmosphere despite the drizzle.

The market is currently underway and will continue throughout the weekend from 09:00 until 22:00, creating a weekend filled with festivities. Residents are encouraged to come down, explore, shop, and soak up the festive spirit.
Proceeds from the market go directly to Nicarela Charity to support its beneficiaries, including The Living Link, Bethany House Trust, MES, and Guild Cottage.
It is a chance to embrace the season, celebrate local creativity, and give back to a cause that strengthens the community.
