Parkwood re-burst delays water repairs – suburbs still without supply
Johannesburg Water teams remain on site at the corner of Dorset Road and Denbigh Road in Parkwood.
Johannesburg Water issued the update on May 4. Teams are still attending to the re-burst.
Repair work was delayed due to challenges experienced on-site last night.
The team will return once the required materials and welder have been secured to proceed with the repairs.

Customers in the affected areas may experience low pressure or no water.
Affected areas include Houghton Estate, Parkhurst, Killarney, Riviera, Oakland, Abbotsford, Dunkeld, Saxonwold, Melrose, Rosebank, Illovo, Birdhaven, Athol, Hyde Park, Highlands North, Orange Grove and Savoy.
There is no estimated time of restoration. Further updates will be provided as repairs progress.
