Bramley Police Station detectives earn certificates for their hard work
Bramley SAPS officers were commended for their efforts, which resulted in notable convictions for various crimes.
Hard work, determination, and perseverance paid off for Bramley Police Station detectives, as they were awarded certificates on May 29 in the station’s boardroom.
Station commander Colonel Lionel Chetty commended the recipients for their hard work and efforts, which resulted in convictions for various crimes in the precinct, including murder, tampering with infrastructure, theft, and business robbery.

“Today’s excellence awards are the first of many, and serve as recognition of your hard work.”
Chetty also commended the hard work being put in by other departments who did not receive certificates, saying that he recognised their contributions.
The awarded officers were Sergeant Rhulani Tshirema, Sergeant Rifos Baloyi, Sergeant Lungile Mbatha, and Sergeant Elvis Mtsweni.
Aaron Malepe, Bramley Community Policing Forum deputy executive chairperson, said: “We appreciate the hard work being put in by members of Bramley SAPS, and their efforts to keep the community safe under the new station commander Colonel Chetty.”

Tshirema expressed her happiness, looking forward to more award ceremonies that acknowledged the hard work being put in by SAPS members.
Mbatha said she was thrilled about her hard work being recognised.
