Rosebank robbery suspects arrested: Stolen property recovered
Police arrested two suspects and recovered property belonging to a victim after a robbery in Rosebank.
Two suspects were arrested following an armed robbery in Rosebank, where Johannesburg Flying Squad officers traced a vehicle that was allegedly used in the crime and retrieved the victim’s stolen cellphones.
The officers were following up on information on June 15 after a complainant was robbed by two armed suspects at the corner of Jan Smuts Avenue and Valley Road in Rosebank.

According to the Johannesburg Flying Squad spokesperson, Raymond Sambo, the victim was able to describe a silver VW Kombi that was allegedly used in the robbery and the officers traced the vehicle.
The arrest of the two suspects followed, and police recovered two replica 9mm firearms, and the cellphones that belonged to the victim.
The suspects were held at Rosebank SAPS on charges for the possession of dangerous weapons and suspected stolen property.

The vehicle was impounded for further investigation.
