I live in Balfour Park and I’m writing to you with great concern for the Balfour Park shopping centre car guards.
The guards are almost literally being forced out the centre due to the ridiculous price hike of their daily payment of R100 a day to centre management for them to be able work there.
These men have worked there for more than five years and now we are seeing new guys that we don’t know, and we obviously feel a little uncomfortable by their presence.
The old car guards are slowly disappearing and it breaks my heart as these are honest men trying to make an honest living off the R1 to R10 that they get from customers.
Please help me to get the word out there for these guys.
