Parktown Girls are victorious in softball tournament
Parktown Girls made their mark at the Johannesburg Top Schools Softball Tournament, with the first team being crowned champions.
Parktown Girls High School’s softball teams put on an impressive display at the Johannesburg Top Schools Softball Tournament in Little Falls on September 13.
All three teams showed just how much progress they have made since the start of the season. The juniors, in particular, stood out for their growing confidence and improved decision-making on the field.
They played three matches, demonstrating noticeable development in their game.

The second team played four matches, claiming a spirited win that highlighted their determination.
Meanwhile, the first team enjoyed a stellar run, winning all three of their pool matches before beating Redford House Blue Hills in the semi-finals.
In the final, they faced Trinity Randpark Ridge – the very team that had beaten them earlier in the season. Rising to the challenge, Parktown’s first team played with grit and determination, pulling off a hard-fought victory to secure the trophy.
