Father and son excel in golf
PARKVIEW – Father and son Geoff Mills and Sean Mills triumph at the Parkview Golf Club's Foursomes event.
Parkview Golf Club’s father-and-son team, Geoff and Sean Mills, clinched the Parkview Golf Club Foursomes event recently with a 36-hole strokeplay score of 140, one shot ahead of the second team, Johan van der Merwe and Nathan van Zyl.
The Foursomes is one of the club’s major annual events – played to a format where the two players in a team hit alternate shots with one ball.
The best morning round was a 70 by Matt Emanuel and Werner Snyman while Frank Joubert and Greg Tucker were the best in the afternoon with 67.5.
