Highlands Park Football Club junior co-ordinator Debbie LIouze commended the players for a good season.
“We won six league games and three cup games while having a competitive league with the eastern team. Highlands is about development. Family and our coaches are an integral part of this club as well as the team that works behind the scenes.”

The morning progressed to a match that saw the coaches play against the parents, resulting in a 5–2 win for the coaches.
U6 and U7 coach Oscar Dlamini said: “The first half of the game was good for the coaches but there were notable showboating mistakes due to coaches wanting to show off.

The second half was better even though the ball was being played on one side. Overall, it was a good game but the coaches were still meant to do better especially because we are fitter than the parents.”

A parent, Shanin Rosen, added that the match was a fun way to end the season. Rosen concluded by commending his sons on a good season.
“My boys did well this season. My U6 and U10 sons both won their league games and I hope they continue advancing in the coming season.”
