Parkview Golf Club offers winter golf

As daylight hours begin to shorten, Parkview Golf Club is offering residents more time on Sundays to play golf.

Families can now bond on a Sunday afternoon while playing some golf together. They can now start a round of golf at 3.30pm as soon as the 18-hole players have begun their second nine holes.

“The players say it’s a perfect way to spend time golfing with the family, to hone golf shots away from the boredom of a driving range and for beginners to become accustomed to playing out on the course,” said Theresa Gibbon of the club.

That’s all before sundowners and maybe a pizza on the verandah afterwards.
