Friendly match proves worthwhile to local team
NORWOOD – The U15 team took the win home while the U13s conceded victory on penalties.
A friendly game was just what Norwood Young Stars Football Club needed over the weekend of 21 November.
Team accountant Nzuzo Mtshali said Norwood Young Stars played against Arsenal Football Club Eden Park at their home ground in Ekurhuleni.
The U15 Norwood Young Stars won 5–2 while the U13 Norwood Young Stars lost on penalties.
