Although starting off slowly in the first half, Highlands Park managed to secure their first goal, which saw the team celebrating. The team’s coach, Loyiso Mkutu said the game didn’t begin the way he would have liked it to. “We started off slowly and made a few errors at the back, but grew into the game. I always tell the boys that we attack and defend as a team.”

Mkutu expressed his happiness about the win, adding that there was still room for improvement. “We need to focus on warming up and players arriving on time for their training. Their shooting also needs sharpening because they’re still hesitant to take shots when opportunities arise.”
