DP World Lions welcomes women’s blind team to the pride
The DP World Lions women’s blind team represents an important step forward in creating greater accessibility and equal opportunities within the game.
DP World Wanderers Stadium came alive in celebration on June 9 when Lions Cricket and DP World officially welcomed the latest addition to the pride: the DP World Lions women’s blind team.
The extended partnership will see DP World mark a significant milestone in the advancement of inclusive sport and disability cricket in South Africa.

The announcement was officially commemorated on the eve of the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, set to take place in the UK between June 12 and July 5.

Isaac Bidla, the DP World Lions women’s blind team coach, commended DP World Lions for constantly making the sport accessible and inclusive to communities.
