Stoepstories and love songs at Houghton Theatre

HOUGHTON - Afrikaans audiences will be in for a treat when Tobi Jooste and Ilse-Louise Herholdt take to the stage at Foxwood Theatre.

Stoepstories and Love Songs will offer all the hits made famous by Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole through to Michael Buble.

Theatre manager Clive Rodel said the performances by the classically trained “farm boy who sings in Afrikaans, Italian and Spanish” and the “blonde with a doctorate in music who plays seven instruments” were not to be missed.

“The show is a romantic journey around the world that will sweep you high above the clouds, and hysterically funny stories will have you rolling on the floor with laughter,” he said.

“These are not just top class performers, but a touch of eye candy as well. You’ll want to take them home.”

Stoepstories and Love Songs will play on 22 and 23 March at Foxwood Theatre, 13 5th Street, Houghton Estate.
