Andre Petersen Quartet on 11 April

Riaad Moosa’s Life Begins from 14 to 15 April
They say life begins at 40. Riaad Moosa is turning 40 so he invites the audience to join in figuring out whether life really does begin at 40. This award-winning comedian, presenter, writer and actor happens to be a qualified medical doctor, also known as the ‘Comedy Doctor’ and he certainly seems to have the remedy for the nation’s ills – a healthy dose of laughter.

Weights and Measures ends 28 April
Weights and Measures is a socially engaging public art project, conceived by Bradley McCallum, which examines international justice through portraits. Large-scale oil paintings of defendants, photographs of justice practitioners and audio installations of witnesses and victims are presented in this travelling exhibition at Constitution Hill.

A New Wave ends 25 April
A New Wave is the curated result of a five-month-long process of finding never-seen-before design pieces by the newest, young and local design talent. Tribute to Nelson Mandela ends 2 April
Esther Mahlangu created this important body of work in 2004 and said it remains one of the most rewarding collaborations of her long and illustrious career. The paintings were created by embellishing prints of drawings in her own style. This exhibition is held at The Melrose Gallery.

The Rand Show from 14 to 23 April
The Rand Show is back at the Nasrec Expo Centre and, in their signature style, organisers have planned a bigger and better two-weekend-long festival than ever before.
