South Africa and Germany come together through music for one-night-only special in Braamfontein

BRAAMFONTEIN – A South Africa and Germany collaborative project aims to break down musical barriers.

South Africa will meet Germany in a one-night-only special musical collaboration evening on 9 July at The Orbit: Jazz Club.

Brought to you by Behind The Curtain, this event will see Mandla Mlangeni on the trumpet, Sidney Mnisi on the flute and tenor sax and their German counterparts Sebastian Schuster on bass, Franziska Schuster on vocals, Christoph Heckeler on piano, and Thomas Wörle on drums.

They will all come together to bring you the best of both worlds through the art of jazz music.

Behind The Curtain is a collaborative project which aims to break down musical barriers in the performance of new and engaging work that parallels musical experiences from both sides of the musical curtain.
