A Christmas of giving is in order at Doppio Zero
ROSEBANK – Doppio Zero braces for a Christmas of giving with new decorations and exciting festive retail lines this holiday season.
From dazzling new decorations and exciting festive retail lines to spreading acts of kindness to those less fortunate, Doppio Zero is geared-up for the magic of the holiday season.
Following what has been a tough economic year for many, one of South Africa’s leading community restaurants has brought the fun and vibrancy of Christmas in store.
Most importantly, patrons are being given the chance to pay it forward and brighten a child’s life with the Doppio Zero Wish Tree campaign.
The key component of the campaign every year is the community-based initiative, Wish Tree, where they support their chosen beneficiary schools: Thuto Bokamoso Primary School (Soshanguve), Vulamazibuko School (Diepkloof) and Zakhele Primary School (Pretoria).
Each and every child within these schools will be given a backpack, a stationary pack and a toy. Doppio’s prime focus is to provide 1 200 gifts to various schoolchildren. The aim is to help them experience a bright and productive 2018. Patrons can merely purchase a personal card off the Wish Tree and pledge a gift to the value of R180.
Patrons will receive a Wish Tree key ring, which entitles them to a free coffee with any sit-down meal for the duration of December and January next year at any Doppio Zero. All proceeds will go towards the purchasing of the children’s hampers.
“The festive season can be a very sad time for those less fortunate than ourselves,” said Tarryn Nash, marketing coordinator at Doppio Zero. “We hope our gifts will bring a smile to all our beneficiaries’ faces and go a long way in showing them that someone, somewhere, cares.”
In addition, the launch of Doppio’s Christmas retail product range will provide patrons with the opportunity to find the perfect festive treats including gingerbread houses (kits and pre-built); gingerbread Christmas trees (kits and pre-built); ginger snowmen and women; Linzer cookies; Christmas tree decoration biscuits; honey lebkuchen biscuits; cranberry and pistachio white chocolate bark and salted trios of chocolate bark.

Doppio is launching three coffee hampers in small, medium and large, which are ideal gifts for corporate functions, work colleagues or those who aren’t sure what to buy for a family member or friend. They are also great Secret Santa gifts.
“We wish all our patrons a blessed festive season, surrounded by loved ones, good times and, of course, the smell of freshly brewed coffee,” added Nash.
