In March and April, travel down the rabbit hole and join Alice, one of literature’s most beloved heroines, on her madcap adventures. The ever-curious Alice’s journey begins innocently enough as she chases the white rabbit. Her adventures become increasingly more strange as she races the dodo bird, gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, raps with a bubble-blowing caterpillar and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!
Warm up the winter holidays. In June and July, the Peoples Theatre will bring on the sun with Annie Jr, everyone’s favourite little redhead in her very first adventure. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
