Sade to release new music after eight years

British singer, Sade, is set to release her first song after eight years.

The Sweetest Taboo hitmaker recorded a song for the soundtrack of Ava DuVernay’s upcoming film adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time.

The song will be the first new music from Sade since the 2010 release of her album, Soldier of Love.

The movie’s soundtrack will also feature music from artists such as DJ Khaled and Demi Lovato, Sia and Kehlani.

A Wrinkle in Time is set to be released on 9 March and will star Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
