US rapper Jay-Z has been named by Forbes as the richest rapper in the world.
US rapper Jay-Z has been named by Forbes as the richest rapper in the world with a net worth of over $900 million.
This follows the rap mogul’s net worth rising from $810 million in the past year with the help of his entertainment companies Roc Nation and Tidal.
Jay-Z also owes his success to his interests in champagne brand Armand de Brignac and D’Ussé cognac, which played a vital role in the rise of his value.
Sean Combs, also known as Diddy (formally P Diddy) fell down to second place with a net worth of $825 million.
Other hip-hop artists on the list include Dre, Drake and Eminem.
