Contagious Theatre brings Making Mandela
PARKVIEW – Specialists in theatre shows, Contagious Theatre brings their play showcasing Nelson Mandela's childhood, to Parkview.
Contagious Theatre is bringing their award-winning play, Making Mandela, to Parkview.
The play is an imaginative journey through the childhood of Nelson Mandela, featuring colourful characters, vividly portrayed in beautiful masks, with physical performances supported by emotive sound design and theatrical styling.
“Innovative physical comedy, an unmitigated delight, a joy to watch,” said Christina Kennedy of Business Day.
The play was written by Jenine Collocott and Nick Warren, directed and designed by Jenine Collocott and performed by James Cairns, Jacques de Silva, Mlindeli Zondi and Tsholofelo Mmbi.
Date and time: 3 November at 6.30pm
The show is on for one night only, so book now to avoid disappointment.
Venue: St Francis of Assisi Church – 46 Tyrone Avenue, Parkview.
Ticket cost: R120 for adults and R100 for children and pensioners (includes tea and coffee).
