Siba Mtongana launches new show
JOBURG – Celebrity chef Siba Mbtonga new show will focus on the tastiest foodie hotspots in the city of gold.
South Africa’s beloved celebrity chef, Siba Mtongana, hosted an intimate dinner to celebrate the premiere of her new series, Siba’s Adventures Johannesburg, on 17 April at Marble Restaurant, Rosebank.
The show sees Mtongana head to one of her favourite city’s to uncover the tastiest bits of South Africa’s City of Gold.
“My new series is something a little different to what my avid viewers are used to. I am usually exploring the streets of Cape Town, finding inspiration and bringing it back to my own kitchen,” she said.
In each episode, Mtongana prepares some of her deliciously simple recipes suitable for each foodie visit. From the food on the go to dishes for entertaining and family feasts as the streets of Johannesburg inspire her to create a menu.
Her popular show, Siba’s Table on Food Network, has recently bagged a Silver World Medal at the New York Festival TV and Film Awards. She has no doubts that the new show will also be well received by her audience.
Siba’s Adventures Johannesburg will air from 25 April at 7pm on Food Network.
