08 Oct – The October instalment of the Wits Arts Museum exhibitions is kicking off with a bang. Sponsored by Merrill Lynch (SA), photographer and journalist Daylin Paul investigates the impact of Mpumalanga’s coal power stations on the local population, farming community and economy. Exhibition Opening: Daylin Paul – Broken Land features works from his ongoing documentary where he goes beyond the camera and personalizes the experiences of local people on the front lines of the crisis. 10 Oct – Get ready for 2020 with some furry friends. Enjoy dinner and drinks at the Killarney Country Club with a special revelation of the Sandton SPCA Calendar 2020 Launch. 12 Oct – Use art to share your stories at Drop-In Drawing with Bronwen Findlay. With a photographer’s eye through the camera lens explore techniques by photographer Daylin Paul.
