An adult male sustained moderate injuries after being struck down by a light motor vehicle on the M1-South at the Woodmead offramp in Sandton.

According to Arrive Alive, the driver and the man that was struck down were treated on the scene and once stabilised were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
