‘Everything happens for a reason’ – Madlala

BRYANSTON – The Douglasdale resident herself went on a soul-searching journey during the writing process of this book.

Digging deeper to find the strength that you never knew you had might just be the answer.

This was according to media personality and now author Khanyisile Madlala, in her newly released book Arrested by His Love. The launch, hosted at the Wesley Boutique Hotel in Bryanston, allowed Madlala to share her inspiration for the book but also the important role that it plays in her life.

The story about self-discovery saw Madlala relive some of her most fond, challenging and memorable moments in life which taught her great and significant life lessons.

Through this book, she hopes to strengthen, inspire and empower someone else to not give up and continue living their life for themselves. “Know that everything happens for a reason, you might not see it in that moment but it [life] will never completely work against you,” said Madlala.

The Douglasdale resident herself went on a soul-searching journey during the writing process of this book.

“Writing the book was challenging because I had to face my demons, I had to look into my childhood and overcome some of my biggest challenges. I think I took three years to write this book because there were some moments that I really did not want to relive,” she concluded.
