It was an exciting day out on the courts at Sandton Racquets Club in Morningside on January 8 as the club treated a number of the community’s youth to a day of fun.

The club, which has been around for more than 30 years, is known for hosting a number of activity days, welcoming people from the surrounding communities to learn how to play tennis, get inspired and enjoy some delicious food.

According to owner Drago Elez, it was a successful day both on and off the court.

The combination of tennis coaching, impromptu soccer games, dancing and live music made for an all-around entertaining day with many fun-filled moments.

“It was a successful day which I think everyone enjoyed. We definitely want to host more activity days in the future and welcome more of the community to the club,” he said.
