Johannesburg Water has released a statement that outlines a planned project that will result in water disruptions for 11 days. The water disruptions in various suburbs are to conduct a dummy run in preparation for the cleaning of Illovo reservoirs 2 and 8.
Water disruption details:
- Date: From October 3 at 08:00 till 15 October at 15:00
- Suburbs affected: Sandhurst, Sandton City, Benmore Gardens, Atholl Gardens, Strathavon, Sandown, Morningside, Hurlingham, Inanda and New Brighton.
- Impact: Low water pressure/ no water
