Brescia House School athlete represents SA at the international tournament
Brescia House School athlete Isla Thomas continues to raise the South African flag high following a great run at the Triathle and Biathle World Championships in Portugal.
Brescia House School learner Isla Thomas continues to reach new heights following a stellar performance at the Triathle and Biathle World Championships in Madeira, Portugal.
The young athlete recently represented South Africa at an international tournament.

Out of a total of 38 athletes, she finished in 12th place in the triathle U15 girls’ race. In the U15 biathle race she finished in 22nd place out of 42 athletes from 31 countries across the world.

The triathle consists of a 600 run, five laser pistol shoots from a 5m distance, and a 50m open water swim, repeated three times.
The biathle on the other hand consists of running an 800m run, a 100m open water swim and then a final 80m run.
