Montrose Pre Primary celebrates Easter egg hunt

For the youngest family members, this egg search is ideal.

An Easter egg hunt is a great way to celebrate the arrival of spring. The Easter Bunny made an appearance at Montrose Pre Primary School on March 22. Learners came from their classes to search for eggs.

The school hosts the ceremony during the Easter holidays but this year’s event was celebrated before the actual date. The children were surprised with little packages and they all collected eggs for the underprivileged during the hunt.

Fiona Niemand, the school principal said, “The egg hunt event takes place every year. We asked for donations from the parents of our kids so that they can buy Easter eggs and donate to the underprivileged.”

The Easter Bunny took pictures with the children and is going to the surrounding community Schools of Sandton. The gathering was clearly marked by laughing and joy, which demonstrated the potential benefits of community work, particularly for young children. Ruth Mdlani thanked all the learners for taking part in searching for the Easter egg for the underprivileged.
