Southern Sun Volunteers Prep for Mandela Day
Rise Against Hunger Mandela Day initiative made their 67 minutes count as they worked alongside volunteers in making a real impact in eradicating hunger one meal at a time.
With the theme of climate, food, and solidarity in celebrating Nelson Mandela Day.
Hundreds of people gathered at the Sandton Convention Centre to shine a light on the legacy of Nelson Mandela.
Together, we rise in support of the Rise Against Hunger foundation, with 44 Southern Sun Volunteers prepping, weighing, and sealing 47 boxes comprising 1700 nourishing meals in 67 minutes as part of 168000 meals packed for distribution to under-resourced schoolchildren ahead of Mandela Day 2023.
