Athleticism takes centre stage at Grayston Preparatory School’s Biathle event

The annual Biathle event at Grayston Preparatory School brought together students, parents, and teachers for a day filled with excitement and achievement as young athletes showcased their determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

On March 14, Grayston Preparatory School became a vibrant hub of excitement and camaraderie, as learners, parents, and staff came together for the school’s highly anticipated annual Biathle event.

This exhilarating competition, a highlight of the summer term, saw participants demonstrating their courage and athleticism through a challenging course of running, swimming, and running again.

The atmosphere was electric as learners rallied for their peers, with enthusiastic cheers ringing out from parents and teachers who joined in the festivities.

The Biathle was not merely a test of physical capability but a grand celebration of community spirit, resilience, and sportsmanship. Spectators and supporters created an uplifting environment that encouraged participants to push their limits.

The day was marked by outstanding performances across all grades. In Grade 4, Alexia Hauser and Matteo Ruscic showcased exceptional skill, while Grade 5 saw Louise Willemin and Kaid Twersky emerge victorious with their impressive efforts. Caitlyn Hauser and Alexander Papazian shone in Grade 6, and Grade 7 champions: Emma Gotthardt, Gabriella Pearse, and Gaspard Willemin, exhibited remarkable athleticism and dedication.

As Grayston Preparatory School looks to the future, the Biathle remains a cherished tradition that continues to inspire and unite the community.
