5 musicians take Sandton audience on musical journey
Former Salon Boys members joined their former music teachers on stage for a lunchtime performance celebrating French and Latin American classics.
Piaf to Piazzolla brought French and Latin American sounds to Theatre on the Square on October 9 as part of its Lunch Hour Music Concert series.
The Sandton venue hosted the performance, which celebrated the musical styles of French singer Édith Piaf and Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla.

Accordion player Philip Loots, clarinettist Lizet Smith, violinist Reuben van Nieuwenhuizen, guitarist Henry Smith and double bassist Neil Ehlers took the stage.


The performance brought together former members of the Salon Boys and their teachers, giving them a chance to reunite through music and share their collective experience with audiences.
