Wanderers Ladies team to host a T10 cricket tournament in September

The Wanderers Ladies team is hosting a T10 cricket tournament from 21 to 24 September .

There are 10 teams attending the tournament from Northern Gauteng and Gauteng.

The T10 is the first of its kind with no other club tournaments having been organized for woman’s cricket in South Africa where club sides from all provinces are invited to play.

There will be representation from the Momentum Protea Woman’s team during the tournament, which adds excitement for both players and spectators.

To add to the ‘wow’ factor the boundary has been moved closer to encourage more sixes and fours.  There is prize money up for grabs so the competing teams are sure to pull out all the stops, ensuring good fun cricket for spectators.

For those looking to unwind there will be a gin tent hosted by Johannesburg’s very own Ginifer, as well as a beer tent hosted by Namibian brewing company, Camelthorn.
