Born To Succeed conference empowers women
WOODMEAD - Seventy previously disadvantaged women will attend the Born to Succeed Women's Conference 2013, a partnership with Seeds of Africa, on 24 August in Woodmead.

The organisers have called for corporates and members of the public to sponsor the women’s attendance, highlighting the importance of empowering these women to succeed in life.
The conference aims to give the women tools and information to overcome the challenges faced in the workplace, and to move forward into greatness. It further aims to promote economic independence among previously disadvantaged women by providing career development tools and confidence.
The conference programme will include a personal branding workshop, a talk on improving image, a professional make-up workshop, the sharing of special networking secrets, a talk on communications skills, and testimonies and tips from successful women.
Attendees will also be given the opportunity to join an Accenture Women’s Network Mentorship Programme for 12 months.
Tickets cost R150 and Seeds of Africa would like to sponsor at least 50 of the women. Email borntosucceed@consultsocialinvestment.com about sponsorship.
