Man collapses and dies at police station
BRAMLEY - Policing are looking for the relatives of this man believed to be between 60 and 80 years who died after collapsing at the police station.
Police in Bramley are trying to piece together the names and relatives of a man who collapsed and died at the station on 14 August before he could even state his case.
Spokesperson for the police Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said the man, believed to be between 60 and 80 years old and wearing blue jeans, maroon scotch shirt and blue running shoes, collapsed and died in front of the client services department at 6.45am.
Maphakela said the man died before he could even state his case and an ambulance was called to the scene but the man was certified dead. Police officers searched him for any items that could lead to his identification but nothing was found in his possession.
Finger prints of the man were also taken and police appeal to anyone who can come to the station to identify him or those with a missing relative to contact Warrant Officer Thomas Baloyi of the Bramley detectives on 072-232-2164.
