Joburg Water has apologised to residents in affected areas and undertakes to have the interruption resolved as soon as possible. The reason for the water cuts is due to infrastructure upgrades being connected to a new water pipeline. The water interruptions will ultimately improve service delivery and the continuation of water supply in the area.
Residents living in Strathavon will be affected along Daisy Road (between Grayston Drive and North Close), Morris Road, Helen Road, Lynne Close, Eileen Crescent, Jennifer Grove, Strathbury Place, Storms Close, Juniper Close and North Close on 8 September.
Morningside Ext 1 residents will be affected along North Road, Rivonia Road, The Crescent, Robert Crescent, Tana Road, French Lane and Aberfeldy Avenue on 10 September.
