BRACe says goodbye to secretary at farewell party
WOODMEAD – It was a double celebration for the Buccleuch Residents Action Community (BRACe) as the association gathered to bid farewell and celebrate the birthday of one of its long-serving members.
The organisation bid farewell to Karen Laxton, the organisation’s secretary, at a celebratory dinner hosted last week at the Life Grand Cafe in Woodmead.
The event also saw Laxton celebrate her 70th birthday, making it a joyous occasion. BRACe lamented the loss of Laxton, saying that she left a big gap to fill for the next person.
