Charity to host glamorous ladies lunch, for a good cause

JOHANNESBURG – The Sunflower Fund to host a ladies lunch for a good cause.

The Sunflower Fund will host a ladies lunch on 8 March at The Hilton Hotel, Sandton. Funds raised from this event will go toward recruiting blood stem cell donors, giving greater hope of life to patients who are diagnosed with life-threatening blood diseases and who are in need of a blood stem cell transplant from a matching unrelated donor.

The Sunflower Fund is a donor recruitment centre and stem cell registry that is part of a global network, dedicated to creating awareness about blood diseases and stem cell donation, recruiting blood stem cell donors and maintaining a registry of committed donors. It pays for the cost of the tissue-type testing, this is fundamental to saving the lives of South Africans who need a stem cell transplant.

Tickets cost R450 per person which includes a delicious three-course meal, a BON Natural Oils gift per lady, fabulous goodie bags, surprise treats and loads of fantastic prize giveaways. Ladies are encouraged to add a touch of glamour to their outfits and wear a fancy hair accessory. A prize will be awarded to the guest for being the most creative.
