The St Stithians Girls’ College water polo double win

LYME PARK – After a much-awaited win, St Stithians winS the water polo championships.

St Stithians Girls’ College is incredibly proud of their 1st and U15 water polo teams that won national titles.

The 1st team won the Old Petrians tournament hosted by St Peter’s College and the U15 team won the Shaun Fuchs Trophy hosted by Crawford School Lonehill.

St Stithians wishes a well done to all the players, coaches, managers, dedicated supporters and thanks to St Peter’s College and Crawford School Lonehill for hosting these awesome events.

Pierre le Roux the MIC (master in charge) of water polo at the Girls’ College commented, “I am very proud of both our U15 and our 1st team water polo for the amazing season that they have had, including these achievements this past weekend.

“The U15 team has remained unbeaten and has ended the season as national champions. The 1st team had one loss in 56 games this past season, accumulating an incredible five national titles and three local titles.

“This following the unbeaten season of 2019 is absolutely incredible. The hard work and dedication of every athlete and coach has been incredible.”
